You Are Not Invited! was commissioned by Tiny Gallery in September 2025 as a response to small works often being called “cute.” Originally enclosed in a clear plexi box, You’re Not Invited mirrors the pang of exclusion. Like seeing friends enjoy a party on social media—a party that didn’t include you—you’re close, yet still shut out. You lean in, but remain outside, a witness rather than a guest, whether you like it or not.
